Giggleswick: St Alkelda's

Church Street Giggleswick Settle North Yorkshire
01729825955
http://www.stalkeldaschurchgiggleswick.org.uk/

Our current church family is small compared to what was the norm in pre-Victorian days when St. Alkelda's welcomed worshippers from Settle and the surrounding villages for it was the ancient parish church.

There has always been a musical tradition at StA's and our Choir continues this Sunday by Sunday.

A small number of our family meets at 8.00a.m. each Sunday for BCP Holy Communion. The mid-morning service is at 10.00a.m. and there is Sung evensong at 6.00p.m. on the first Sunday of the month. At major festivals, these times and places may vary.
